3 key words in the career development

I used to remind students in the class to improve themselves with the following 3 keywords.  Here to share to public and also as a place for my students to find their memory if they just forget.

K - Knowledge

Knowledge is always the base for you to show your value.  And the most important is to broaden the categories to enrich your view.  For example, business person may also read some art or philosophy related books to get different viewpoints and inspire existed awareness to new horizon.

T - Trust, Team, Think

Need to build Trust with your friends, customers and co-workers.
Teamwork is the key to generate power of works and influences.
Think is always the daily key action to find out what, why and how to make it change to better status.

V - Value, Vision 

This is very important and key to influence others if you can provide the value which is considered by others.  And normally we need to have the vision and issues from others' angle and viewpoints.  Which is others think you are good, then you are good.  Not you personally think what I am and what I provided.

3 Steps on doing social business

Many people focused on doing business online, offline, with the help of social media..etc.  But anyhow, there will be 3 key steps to make sure we can have a very good starting points and approach to do social business.

These 3 steps are called "L", "T", "E".

1. L - means Listen.

Before doing any business design and activities, we need to take sometime to listen to the social media on those voices talking about market, product, specification, competitors, services, retailors, promotions, prices...etc.  This will give us a more clear information and real feddback from public.  Then, we can based on these information to do next steps.

2. T - means Think.

What we need to think while listen to the feedback from social media and market insight or the feedback from our frond-end sales forces?  These key items for us to think are the product, marketing, sales and service strategy to adapt to your understanding of the social media informations.

3. E - means Engage.

Here is the moment to take action to solid execute what we planned and make sure we can approach to our target clients with the right product, price, place and promotion.

So far, many companies know these principals, but very hard to do the "L" Listen due to too many informations in the social media.  Here suggest to leverage so-call "social listening tool" to help on collect, filter, segment, analysis and discover the insight.  This is important and effective way to improve the business performance.

"HELP" to be a good leader!

Here to post my lesson learned on how to be a good leader.
There will be 4 key letters called "HELP".
They are

1. H - Home.

This means you need to create the team atmosphere like home and let team members feel warm and secure to stay, share and support each other.

2. E - Envision, Encourage, Empower

Need to let team members to know your vision and direction for them to follow and let them try to experience the leader to grow and make own decision and also take the responsibility.

3. L - Lead, Learning and Leverage

Need to be the role model in front the team for them to follow and learn your way of doing business.  To adapt to the market and technology change all the way, also need to create a environment for team to learn with each other and study new things and share as well.  Then, not just limit the capability in the team, leverage cross team and global resources is also important and key to success.

4. P - Platform, Performance and Promote

Create a platform for team to practice.  And if the team member got good performance, as a leader you should find ways to promote team members in public.

Nothing new, but consolidate my ideas as 4 key letters in mind to doing them everyday~~~

The great view to think

Well, normally what we will think when we look at the very beautiful sunset?

Think about the great moment in our life?

Think about the great coffee we had here?

Think about how lucky I am to view such great view?

Think about how lucky I am to be with the lover here to share the view?

Actually, I had them all while I took the picture in the Yan-Min Mountain where very near to Taipei city for just 30 minutes to here.

This is a good place for me to relax and come down to think for problem solving...

參加中秋群星頌的感想

甫獲金曲獎肯定的台北市立國樂團，將在９月11、12日於中山堂舉辦「中秋群星頌─群星伴樂」演唱會，除了國樂團演奏，多位實力派唱將歌手如謝雷、黃小琥、潘越雲、孫淑媚、曾心梅、符瓊音、李珮菁都將演唱多首膾炙人口歌曲。

我是參加9/11晚上的場次，是由研華科技所贊助的。整個晚上的心情，很開心，很感動。也頗感時光飛逝。只覺得人生苦短，應把握當下，做些未來不會後悔沒做的事。
